Afini holds a Bachelor's Degree of Arts (Psychology) from The University of Queensland, Australia in 2016. Since then, she has been working with neurodiversity learners from children, to teenagers to young adults. She has worked in multiple settings from center, home-based and school.
Throughout the 7 years, she provides individual/group therapy, learning assistance (shadow aide), parent training, case review, teacher/therapist training and supervision, screening and consultation. Most of the years of experience, she has integrated and collaborated with multidisciplinary professionals and school educators to support the best interventions for her students.
She was a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) from Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) back in 2018. She completed BCaBA course and currently pursuing her next certification with ongoing clinical supervision from a BCBA.
She believes every single individual is unique, so does the learning approach. She finds working with special needs individuals is wholeheartedly fun!
